015-inch and 7-inch color graphical interface control boards

Graphical control platform

5″ & 7″ Color GUI

A single-board solution with numerous options, including an application-specific second expansion board. The platform uses a WVGA 800 × 480 TFT LCD with resistive touchscreen. Its base configuration includes a USB host for loading applications, multi-voltage input, 8MB SDRAM and a battery-backed real-time clock.

  • NXP LPC1788 120MHz CPU with 512KB internal Flash and RAM
  • Optional 8MB NOR Flash, expandable to 32MB
  • SDRAM expandable to 32MB
  • Optional second USB OTG port
  • I²C, SPI, CAN, RS-232 and RS-485 serial buses
  • On-board audible transducer
  • 70-circuit connector for an application-specific second PCB

Model 1120

A unique low-cost platform that can bypass the safety approval agency process by virtue of its construction. The base unit is recognized as a temperature control compliant with UL 873. High-voltage components are isolated on the rear PCB, which supplies safe, limited power to the front control PCB. In many cases, limited front-board modifications can be made without another safety review—shortening time to market.

The base unit can be configured as a single- or dual-zone temperature control.

  • Single-chip microprocessor controller with Flash and EEPROM
  • 8KB, 16KB and 32KB Flash options for cost-sensitive applications
  • One hardware configuration for many point-of-use programmed applications
  • Single or dual inputs for RTDs, thermistors or thermocouples
  • Four-digit LED display and five firmware-configurable pushbuttons
  • On-board audible transducer
  • 120VAC and 240VAC versions
  • Single or dual 10A resistive relay outputs

03MC5000 universal touchscreen timer in stainless steel enclosure

Universal touchscreen timer

MC5000

The MC5000 is a flexible process timer for commercial kitchens. Its touchscreen and seven-inch high-brightness color LCD identify processes with user-selected icons. A large time-remaining display and colored borders show which processes need attention.

A durable stainless-steel package and snap-in mounting bracket let the timer go wherever process control is needed.

  • Eight programmable process buttons
  • Multiple timed operations for each process button
  • User-programmable processes created from a spreadsheet
  • Processes editable by spreadsheet or directly through the interface
  • Audible alert at process timeout
  • Low-voltage operation for simple installation

04MC1020 USB host buffer circuit board

USB host buffer

MC1020

The MC1020 Host Buffer enables typical microprocessor-based controllers to interface with common USB drives for menu and status uploads and downloads, plus controller firmware updates. It connects to the equipment controller through standard or custom protocols over RS-485, RS-232 or a digital link.

  • Operates from 5VDC
  • On-board LED indicates data transfer
  • Low-cost open-board construction
  • Compact size for installation inside existing equipment
